Charlotte is a self-taught artist with an appreciation for the arts in all their forms. She took art classes throughout her years in school, studied architecture at university, built her career in property management and pivoted in her mid – 30’s to became an emergency planning professional, where she now has the honour of using her artistic talent in collaboration with the ‘IAmPlanning’ international campaign.
As a member of the Botswana diaspora, her multiple culture shock experiences inspired her “Daughter of the Sun & Blue Skies” collection, which vividly illustrates the grief of leaving home, the sharp pang of longlines in an unfamiliar environment – alongside the excitement of new beginnings – as she learns to open her mind and heart to new people, a new culture and a whole new way of life.
She is currently based in Germany with her loving and supportive husband and their two bengals, Xander and Qiara.
